| Чем больше родинок на теле, тем дольше проживешь
По количеству невусов (родимых пятен) можно определить, как долго человек будет молодым, считают британские ученые из лондонского университета.
Специалисты обследовали 1800 близнецов, а вернее, подсчитали все их родинки на теле и пришли к удивительному открытию. Оказалось, что люди с большим количеством родинок хоть и подвергаются серьезному риску развития рака, с другой стороны, и прожить могут дольше, пояснили эксперты. Удалось выяснить, что чем больше у человека родинок, тем выше вероятность того, что его ДНК обладает особыми механизмами защиты от старения.
В ходе изучения добровольцев ученые попытались проследить зависимость участков ДНК, отвечающих за старение человека, от количества родинок на теле. Они обнаружили связь между количеством родинок и длиной теломеров - концевых участков генов, которые как раз и являются индикаторами старения сердца, мышц, костей и артерий человека (когда теломеры становятся слишком короткими, клетка перестает делиться и погибает).
Сравнив количество родинок и длину теломеров близнецов, ученые вычислили, что разница в биологическом возрасте обладателей 100 родинок и тех, у кого их не больше 25-ти, составляет 6 - 7 лет. Эти выводы тем более удивительны, что до сих пор считалось, что большое количество родинок повышает риск развития меланомы и приводит к тяжелой форме рака кожи.
Кстати, в среднем на теле человека можно насчитать до 30 родимых пятен, но иногда их количество достигает 400. Как правило, большинство этих темных пятнышек появляются в детстве, а с возрастом могут исчезнуть.

| В советские времена самым главным детским курортом была Анапа. Здесь находилось множество пионерских лагерей. А у родителей не возникало вопросов, куда отправить своего ребенка на лето - если была возможность, все ехали в Анапу.

Дело во многом в песчаных пляжах с мелководьем, которые идут на километры и отлично подходят для детей. На песке так приятно играть и очень удобно загорать.
В Анапе очень комфортный климат. Морской воздух сочетается с сухим степным. Курорт является чемпионом среди других по количеству солнечных дней в году. Анапчане даже шутят, что если где-то в округе идет дождь, то над Анапой всегда светит солнце. Здесь нет гор, одни степи. Попасть в Анапе в «сезон дождей» меньше вероятности, чем, например, в Сочи, где влажные субтропики и часто пасмурно.
Помимо отличных природных условий, в Анапе хорошая оздоровительная база. Множество санаториев специализируются на лечении различных заболеваний. Санатории не пустуют даже зимой. Отдыхать с детьми в Анапе весело и здорово. Море отлично закаляет детский организм. Многими отмечено, что дети, ежегодно выезжающие к морю, реже болеют, ведь купание сравнимо с закаливанием. А если пройти с ребенком курс профилактических ингаляций в каком-нибудь санатории, то на весь зимний сезон восприимчивость к болезням уменьшится.

“Tiger numbers in Malaysia have been going down, down, down, at an alarming rate,” says Rondeau. In the 1950s, Malaysia had around 3,000 tigers, but a combination of habitat loss, a decline in prey, and poaching decimated the population. By 2010, there were just 500 left, according to WWF, and the number has continued to fall.
The Malayan tiger is a subspecies native to Peninsular Malaysia, and it’s the smallest of the tiger subspecies in Southeast Asia.
“We are in this moment where, if things suddenly go bad, in five years the Malayan tiger could be a figure of the past, and it goes into the history books,” Rondeau adds.
Determined not to let that happen, Rondeau joined forces with WWF-Malaysia last year to profile the elusive big cat and put a face to the nation’s conservation work.
It took 12 weeks of preparations, eight cameras, 300 pounds of equipment, five months of patient photography and countless miles trekked through the 117,500-hectare Royal Belum State Park… but finally, in November, Rondeau got the shot that he hopes can inspire the next generation of conservationists.
